Tri.x is the UK's leading provider of policies and procedure manuals in the children's sector, with a significant number of independent providers trusting us to keep their Manuals up to date. (see Our Customers)

When you commission us to produce or update your Procedures, you will benefit in a number of ways:

  • Inspectors trust us because we guarantee legislative/regulatory compliance;

  • You become part of a wide and expanding family of existing customers (see Our Customers) who share good practice and keep each other informed;

  • You are recognised as being part of that family, of providers with up to date/reliable procedures;

  • Therefore, commissioners are more likely to trust you; · Practitioners like using our Manuals, they find them easy to navigate and reliable;

  • We are cost effective - you won't find a better/cheaper 'external' option, and you'll save money on 'in house' solutions (see 'Costs' below).

What's included?

It's not simply a Procedures Manual, it's a 'one stop shop' for all your policies and procedures, and a wide range of other resources - all up to date with current legislation, regulations and standards - and tailored to your own operational requirements:

  • We have created a new web based version of the Children's Homes Standards (England) which we'll include into your Manual (we are in the process of creating the Welsh Standards and will produce the Fostering Standards too);

  • We'll definitely include all your care/educational procedures, and we can also include your H&S and HR Procedures.

  • If you wish - many do - we'll include your forms. We can include forms supplied by you, or we can assist with the (re)drafting/corporatisation of your forms.

  • When legislation or Standards change, we'll bring you up to date. · We can assist by reassuring you that staff understand your procedures - e.g. with simple 'on-line' questionnaires.

We also have a team of superb designers and web builders who love finding improved ways to get the message out.

Costs

We do not provide off the shelf solutions, each manual is tailored to the individual customer; therefore, we can't give you a definitive cost structure.

However, we'll guarantee you won't find a more cost effective solution, in house or via external commissioning.

For as little as £2,800*, we can produce a fully up to date and tailored Manual - published and ready to use in a few months. If you require a more comprehensive consultation exercise, e.g. to include multiple resources with complex provisions and to include a suit of on line questionnaires, the initial cost can raise to £7,000*.

These are one off set up costs, we then expect you to contract to 12 months updating and maintenance, which costs between £2,000 - £6,000 depending on the size and complexity of your Manual. You receive 2 planned updates, including updates emanating from the forthcoming Children's Homes Standards , and any urgent/non planned updates.

* If you wish, you can pay monthly or quarterly, the manual is hosted by us, available to you round the clock, and can be protected by a secure login.
