LSCB/Safeguarding Procedures

"...the procedures look professional, inviting and extremely user friendly, this is the standard we require"
(quote from a Safeguarding Children Board Co-ordinator)

By 2012, Tri.X will be the defacto provider of procedures in the children's sector - as we speak, almost 50% of local authorities (Children's Trusts and/or LSCBs) engage us to keep them up to date (see Safeguarding Customers)

In previous years, the imminent arrival of 'Working Together' created anxiety and increaed workloads upon already pressurised agencies. Some were unable to update their procedures for 12 months, after the last publication, in 2006.

We'll take this load off the shoulders off our existing customers and we'll plan to update and relaunch their procedures in a timely fashion.

New customers, who join this increasing family of LSCBs who trust us to keep them up to date, will enjoy the same benefits.

There is enormous synergy to be gained from working with so many LSCBs/Agencies, it enables everyone to work together, share ideas and create effective and exciting ways to bring procedures to life - which is reassuring everyone concerned in protecting and safeguarding children.

Customers commission us because our solutions far exceed anything that can be produced in house or by other consultants; Tri.x manuals are accessible, easy to understand and can be customised to their needs.

Getting the message out!

"just what we need to make procedures genuinely available to all front line staff, I have the link at the top of my favourites list!"
(Paul Hewitt, Safeguarding Quality Assurance Manager: Hillingdon)

The big challenge for LSCBs is to engage partners and the wider community, enabling them to work together to protect and safeguarding children.

They have to get the message out, clearly and succinctly – and they have to stay up to date.

We can help!

  • We create accessible and user friendly procedures.

  • We can help get the message out e.g. we can assist with launches, training and with updating or re-designing your website.

Costs

It's hard to provide realistic costs until we have scoped out your needs but, as a guide, in the last year, we have charged between £5,800 - £7,200 for development and production of a full, web based, LSCB Procedures Manual (e.g.Coventry LSCB Procedures).

For a 'website', designed to engage your partner agencies and provide information and advice to the wider community (such as that provided for Sandwell LSCB), we would change between £4,000 - £7,500 - depending on the features you require.
